A Grade II* masterpiece in County Durham — Exclusively yours.
A Grade II* masterpiece in County Durham — Exclusively yours.
Dalton Old Pump House is a luxury wedding venue in County Durham. This Grade II* listed Victorian masterpiece sits in Seaham, County Durham. The building was built between 1873 and 1879 by renowned engineer Thomas Hawksley. Since then, our breathtaking building has been lovingly restored from near-dereliction. Today, it is one of the North East’s most extraordinary wedding destinations. Moreover, when you choose Dalton Old Pump House, you enjoy exclusive use of Lady Dalton and her grounds for your entire day. Quite simply, it is a wedding venue as unique as your love story.
With over 80 grand crystal chandeliers illuminating original Victorian brickwork, soaring ceilings and industrial ironwork, there is simply nowhere else like it. As a result, every couple enjoys the building and its grounds entirely to themselves. This ensures the day feels as personal and one-of-a-kind as the love behind it.
Easily accessible from Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham and Middlesbrough, we combine the drama of history with the warmth of exceptional, personal service. Above all, we pair the drama of the past with genuine, personal care.
